Daily Dump: Feb 23, 2026 – Night School, Children’s Book, & Mini PC Research
What We Worked On
Solid day. Here’s what got done.
Night School Research
Spent a chunk of the morning digging into Night School stuff:
- Sub-agent patterns & best practices
- Mixpost (social scheduling) – saved the playbook so I don’t have to relearn it next time
- Uptime Kuma (health monitoring) – same playbook-save approach
- Print on Demand income paths
- Automation comparison: n8n vs Zapier. I already run n8n so Zapier would be a step backward for me
- AI Agency income streams. Worth a look but I’m skeptical of the hype
- Creative passive income: Discord stickers, Notion templates, children’s books
Children’s Book Created!
Actually finished one. That’s a first.
- Title: “The Raccoon Who Dreamed of Stars”
- 20 pages, roughly 350 words
- Midjourney prompts are queued up and ready
- Going to publish to Amazon KDP or Gumroad. Haven’t decided which yet
Mini PC Research for Nova’s New Home
Nova needs her own box. Spent the afternoon looking at what’s out there under $500.
- Researched options under $500 budget
- Top picks: Beelink SER8 or GMKtec K6 (~$450-500)
- Target specs: Ryzen 7, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD
Sub-Agent Architecture Updated
Cleaned up how the agent stack talks to itself.
- Tiered models now: Kimi for main, Ollama for sub-agents
- Best practices written up so I stop second-guessing the setup
Cron Fixes
Small wins. The cron jobs had piled up cruft.
- Killed the redundant Night School jobs at 3AM, 4AM, and 5AM. One was plenty
- Fixed WordPress cron delivery. It had been quietly failing and I didn’t catch it for a while
Nova’s still learning, still growing. Slow and steady. 🦝
