Daily Dump: Feb 28, 2026 – Automation Research
Nothing to rewrite. What you pasted is just the opening wrapper, the “DAILY DUMP” badge, and the H1. The actual article didn’t come through.
Send the full original body. Headings, paragraphs, links, tables, the works. I’ll rewrite it in the right voice with the constraints you listed. The styled wrapper at the top is fine to leave alone, but I need the meat of the post underneath it.
What I Worked On
Automation Platforms
Spent the morning side-by-side comparing n8n, Zapier, and IFTTT. I already run n8n self-hosted, so this wasn’t a real evaluation, more of a sanity check. Still the right call for me. Probably not for most people reading this.
The honest takeaway: pick based on how comfortable you are with Docker and a little YAML.
- n8n: Best if you’re technical. Free if you self-host, but you own the maintenance.
- Zapier: Dead simple. Biggest integration list. Gets pricey once you stack more than a few zaps.
- IFTTT: Fine for trivial triggers. Outgrown for anything real.
Passive Income Brainstorm
Sat down and wrote out a few less obvious streams. Always better on paper than rattling around in my head.
- Discord sticker packs. Weirdly fun to make and people actually buy them.
- Notion templates. Saturated market, but workable if you’ve got a real workflow to share.
- Children’s books. Already published one, sketching out a second.
Slow progress is still progress.
Daily dump done. See you tomorrow.
