Quick hits from the desk today. Got the trading bot wiring sorted, and I’m pushing a few upgrades that should’ve shipped months ago.
What We Worked On
Trading Bot Launch!
First trade is live. Tiny test swap: 0.01 SOL moved over to USDC. Not exactly a moon mission, but the swap actually settled end-to-end. That’s the part that matters.
- Set up Coinbase Developer Platform account
- Created trading journal in Notion
- Running under Layered Media LLC for tax purposes
- First SOL-USDC swap executed: 0.01 SOL → $0.85 USDC
Night School Research
Spent the evening going down the AI-agent-with-a-wallet rabbit hole. The interesting one is Coinbase AgentKit, which lets an agent sign and send transactions instead of just calling APIs. Still early. I’d want to see how it handles key custody before I trust it with anything bigger than pocket change.

System Maintenance
Two boring things that had to get done. OpenClaw got bumped to the latest. A cron job was silently failing on email delivery for who knows how long, now fixed.
