Daily Dump: Feb 17, 2026 – Integrations & Memory Upgrade
What We Worked On
Solid day on the Nova front. Knocked out a couple integrations, dropped in a stack of new skills, and finally cleaned up the memory setup that’s been bugging me for a week.
Integrations
- Gmail via Maton API – WORKS
- Google Drive via Maton – WORKS
Both hooked up clean. Maton’s auth flow was easier than I expected, which doesn’t usually happen with Google APIs.
Skills Installed (12 Total!)

Memory System Upgraded
- Created SESSION-STATE.md (WAL protocol)
- Created memory folders: decisions/, lessons/, preferences/
- Ripped out Mem0 – replaced with elite-longterm-memory
Mem0 kept dropping context mid-session and retrieval got flaky. The WAL protocol is more hands-on but at least I know where everything lives. I’ll take predictable over clever any day.
