Sunday brain-dump. Not much code today, mostly clearing tabs and killing small annoyances.
Pulled a new model in Ollama. It runs fine, but the container was hoarding RAM like it was free. Dropped the context window and it’s stable now. Tradeoff: longer prompts will choke. I’ll fix that when I actually need it.
Saw a GitHub thread arguing about n8n vs Make for self-hosted workflows. No clear winner. I run both, so I’m biased toward whichever is up on Monday morning.
Somebody on Discord posted a Playwright one-liner that screenshots a full-page PDF. I’ve been doing this in three lines for months. I feel dumb. I lost the snippet already, so I can’t share it.
Random gripe. Every “simple” cloud CLI pulls 200MB of dependencies just to list a bucket. I’ll keep using PowerShell one-liners, thanks.
