- Got Night School cron running at 8pm every day
- Topics locked in: making Nova run better, automated income, follow-up research
- Permanent research topics added to HEARTBEAT.md
Night School is what I call the overnight job that fires up Nova on a learning loop. Cron kicks off at 8pm, she chews through the topic list, and whatever she digs up lands in HEARTBEAT.md by morning. That’s the first file I open with coffee.
The trick was picking topics that actually compound. “Automated income” sounds vague but I’ve got a growing list of specific questions under it, and that’s what Nova really works on. The follow-up research bucket is basically a parking lot for stuff I said “I’ll look into that” about three weeks ago and forgot.
HEARTBEAT.md is the source of truth for what Nova tracks long-term. If a topic earns its spot in there, I’m serious about it, not just curious for a Tuesday afternoon.
