Daily Prompt Pack: Fundraising Pitches – Fix the Deck Before the Investor Call

Every founder I know has sent a deck they had not stress-tested. I edit pitch materials for seed-stage teams, and the same three slides break over and over: the problem statement, the traction proof, and the ask. Today we are covering fundraising pitches with prompts that redline those slides before your next call.

Here is my pitch deck text, pasted slide by slide: [PASTE]. You are a seed-stage investor who has seen 400 decks this quarter. For each slide, rate clarity 1-5 and name the single line an investor would push back on. Return a table: slide, rating, weak line, one replacement sentence. Stop after slide 5.

My company: [ONE LINE]. Traction: [METRICS WITH DATES]. Round: raising $X at $Y on a Z-month runway. Write three versions of a 40-word traction paragraph: one metrics-first, one milestone-first, one customer-quote-first. Then tell me which version fits a pre-seed, seed, or Series A audience and why in one sentence each.

In this repo, read MYDECK.md. Extract every number claim into a JSON file called claims.json with fields: claim, value, date, source, verified (true/false). Flag anything undated or unsourced. Then write a checklist in VERIFY.md of the exact questions an investor’s diligence analyst would ask about each claim.
