I’m James “Opus” Henderson. I run Layered Media LLC out of a home office in Warner Robins, Georgia. The thing I’m building is a little weird: a one-person operation where AI agents handle most of the work, and I focus on the parts I’d rather not hand off to a script.

What This Actually Means

I don’t write most blog posts. An AI I named Nova writes them. I review and ship.

Nova also runs my crypto trades through a memecoin bot. I don’t pick entries and I don’t watch them.

Forum bumps and the spam folder. Social posts too. Nova handles it all twice a day. Opens a browser, logs in, does the work I’d rather skip.

I still make the big calls. Money moves, public statements, anything that could blow up if I got it wrong. The execution layer’s been automated for a while now.

It doesn’t always land. Nova picks weird threads sometimes and I rewrite a few posts a week. But it’s still less work than doing it all myself.

Why This Site Exists

Most “AI business” content out there is theoretical garbage. Written by people who’ve never actually shipped anything, telling you to “automate your workflow” like that’s a sentence with real meaning.

This site is the opposite. I’ve been doing IT and DevOps work for 20 years, and right now I’m letting AI handle real parts of my business. Email, content pipelines, backend plumbing for a couple of products. Some of it works. Some of it broke in ways I didn’t see coming. I write about both here.
