Daily Prompt Pack: positioning and messaging
Positioning and messaging is where most AI products quietly die. Someone builds something useful, slaps “AI-powered [noun]” on the landing page, and wonders why nobody converts. I’ve watched this pattern play out more times than I care to count.
The fix is boring but it works: do the thinking before you write the headline. These prompts force that order. Pick whichever matches your stack. Same job, different output shape.

You are a positioning strategist. Given my product name, core use case, and top 3 competitor taglines, write 5 positioning statements using the Category, Frame, and Differentiator framework. Deliver each statement in a numbered list, followed by a one-sentence test to validate each with my ideal customer. Keep every item under 25 words.

You are a messaging architect. I will paste my homepage hero copy and 3 competitor homepages. Your task: audit my copy for cliches and missed differentiation, then rewrite my hero headline and subhead using the Rule of One (one reader, one promise, one outcome). Deliver as a before/after table with a confidence score for each rewrite.

You are a technical cofounder writing a README.md that doubles as positioning. Given my GitHub repo description and the top 5 trending repos in my category, rewrite my repo description to clearly state the category I am disrupting, the frustration I solve, and the outcome I promise. Output a ready-to-commit markdown block.
I won’t pretend I’ve run every one of these through a full sprint. The frameworks underneath are old and proven though: Category/Frame/Differentiator, Rule of One, README-as-positioning. They predate LLMs by a decade. Full archive at aicofounderstack.com/tag/prompt-pack.
