Daily Prompt Pack: Founder Productivity — Reclaim Your Hours: Async defaults

Default to async. Save sync time for the meetings that actually need it. This week’s pack runs with that idea: three prompts that move recurring sync work into something you read on your own time.

Quick framing: I built these prompts from Claude’s docs, Cursor’s repo examples, and founder Discord threads I lurk in. I haven’t run them on my own calendar or inbox yet. Treat them as starting points, not finished products.

Feed it your weekly calendar export. It flags recurring meetings you can kill or downgrade, then spits out a table with the meeting name, hours saved per month, and a draft Slack message or Loom script to replace it. The catch: it can’t tell which meetings are politically radioactive at your company. That part’s still your call.

Drop in your last 50 sent emails. It pattern-matches your replies and hands back a template library organized by scenario: investor update, customer support, vendor negotiation, team escalation. Comes with subject lines and a rough time-saved estimate. What stood out from the setup threads I read is how often the same five replies end up being half the sent folder. Plausible math, but I’d want to verify on my own inbox before I trusted it.

Point it at your repo and open GitHub issues. It writes a shell script that builds a weekly status report: closed issues, PR summaries, lines changed, all dumped into a markdown file ready to paste into an investor update. Run it Monday, forget it by Tuesday. Tradeoff: you’re trusting the model on PR summaries, so skim the output before anything investor-facing goes out.
