Daily Prompt Pack: Founder Productivity — Reclaim Your Hours: The CEO dashboard
Three numbers, updated weekly, that tell you if the business is healthy.
That’s the idea behind this week’s pack. I’ve been collecting prompts that turn the stuff founders actually spend hours on — meetings, email triage, status reports — into 15-minute tasks. Pick one and run it.
[Claude]
Given my weekly calendar export, identify which recurring meetings can be replaced with async updates. Output a table with meeting name, estimated hours saved per month, and a draft Slack message or Loom script to replace it.
[ChatGPT]
Given my last 50 sent emails, analyze my response patterns and output a reusable reply template library organized by scenario: investor update, customer support, vendor negotiation, and team escalation. Include subject lines and estimated time savings.
[Cursor]
Given my startup’s tech stack and current open GitHub issues, write a shell script that auto-generates a weekly status report. Script must fetch closed issues, summarize PR descriptions, count lines changed, and output a markdown file ready for investor updates.
The Cursor one is my favorite. If you’re already living in GitHub anyway, a report that pulls itself together beats a Sunday night writing session every time. One tradeoff: the output only stays accurate as long as you keep your PR descriptions honest. Most teams don’t.
